This quotation is for budgetary purposes only and the charges are computed based on the information as shown in the “Quotation Summary Sheet”. All Shipment bookings are subject to Carrier’s acceptance, space availability and landing/overflying rights (if applicable).
The rates shall apply to General Cargo only and cargo which are within acceptable cargo and aircraft configurations, and with chargeable weight up to 5,000kg. All Odd size cargo shall be charged at pivot chargeable weight. The rates shall not cover "Swiftrider Service" from Singapore Airlines.
Carrier Charges only include Fuel Surcharge (FSC) and Security Surcharge (ISS) which are computed in the quotation to serve as an indication of the prevailing carrier surcharges only. Final amount of carrier surcharges shall be billed at prevailing rates together with any other carrier/terminal surcharges incurred “at cost” as shown in the HAWB.
Overseas Handling Rates includes Inland Transportation within 100km in radius only, from airport of arrival/departure for non USA shipment. If distance exceeds 100km, trucking charges will be billed per existing Freight Forwarding Contract with the Authority.
Overseas Handling rates shall exclude all Ports/Terminal/Carriers/Government Agencies handling and surcharges, which shall be billed "at cost".
All rates quoted is based on normal working days and hours in the country of destination and origins. If the Contractor is required to handle any shipment outside the normal working days and hours or on public holidays, overtime charges shall apply. If additional resources (examples special transportation vehicles, manpower, handling equipment etc) are required to perform the loading/unloading and delivery, these resources shall be billed as per existing Freight Forwarding Contract with the Authority.
Rates exclude Goods & Service Tax (GST). The prevailing GST rate shall apply. The rates also do not include packing materials, packing services, fumigation services, insurance, duties/taxes and levies. If there are any duties/levies applicable, the Contractor shall bill "at cost".
Services that are rendered and rates are not given in our existing Freight Forwarding Contract with the Authority, charges will be invoiced at cost + 8%
The currency exchange rate used for the computation of the charges served as an indication of the prevailing exchange rates only. Any rates quoted in foreign currencies, shall be converted and billed in Singapore dollars based on the previous Tuesday interbank rate plus a Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) of 2.5%.
The Chargeable weight shall be defined as the greater of the gross weight or volume weight. Volume weight conversion is based on 1 kg: 6000 cubic metres. All rates and charges quoted shall be based on chargeable weight per shipment basis as given in the HAWB.
The requestor of this quotation reads and understands that the amount given in this “Quotation Summary Sheet” is only an estimate and for budgetary purposes only. Requestors should provide additional to cater for possible increase in the estimated total amount arising from the actual execution of the shipment at a later date
